Raj Jawa
Culver City, Los Angeles, California, USA

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Raj Jawa's passion for film began at a young age as he made comedy videos with friends in his neighborhood. This interest led him to pursue film production courses at College of the Canyons, where he graduated with honors in 2008, earning an Associate Degree in Film and Television Production.

Together with his close friend and colleague Diego Miranda from College of the Canyons, Raj co-founded mbcFilms. This led to several experimental short films, allowing Raj to refine his editing skills and work on more abstract concepts. Raj starred in two of mbcFilms' shorts, I'm Not Real and Fourth, which explored themes of loneliness, disconnection, and personal growth.

In 2016, Raj launched Garaj Pictures, where he produced his first feature film, Shadows Fall, a low-budget psychological thriller. In 2023, he began pre-production for his next feature film, The Seductress from Hell, set to be filmed in October 2023.

Determined to expand his skills, Raj attended improvisation classes at Upright Citizens Brigade and enrolled in courses at Stella Adler Academy in Los Angeles. He has received mentorship from renowned Poison Ivy director Katt Shea and is currently working with casting director and acting coach Stephen Snyder of the Pit-Bull Snyder Actors Studio.

Raj is a dedicated actor with over sixty principal and supporting roles under his belt. His most recent appearance was in Disney's Free Guy. He has also been featured in Lifetime Movie series My Crazy Ex, Netflix series Deep Undercover, and the go90 mini-series Threads.
