Navid Hejazi

Navid Hejazi is a music composer and violinist born in Madrid, Spain. He has scored movies, TV shows, commercials and video games from the US, Europe, Japan, China and South America. His score for 'Juan in a Million' ('The Silent Earth') got him a winning award for best music at Festival de Cine Villa del Mar 2013, Chile's national film festival. His score for 'The Second Coming Of Christ' was original score contender for the Oscars 2018. He has worked on movies such as 'The Signal', 'Crypto' and 20th Century Fox 'The Pyramid'. His solo violin can also be heard in video games such as PS4 'Detroit: Become Human' and Xbox 360 'Resident Evil 2: Revelations'.

Fourth generation musician, Navid started playing violin at the age of 5. During his childhood he fell in love with movies and at the age of 15 started composing music. After graduating from Madrid Royal Conservatory he went to Berklee College of Music in Boston where he majored in Film Scoring and Composition. After this he interned at Remote Control Productions in Los Angeles.

In the US Navid Hejazi is part of Zoo Creatives, a film music and post production studio run by composer Nima Fakhrara. Navid is also co-founder of Game Music Town, a company that specializes in creating audio for video games and mobile apps offering original music and sound design to work on any type of interactive game.

In Spain, Navid Hejazi worked with film director Armando Ravelo, whose work has regularly been shown in theaters and on broadcast TV.
